The Brief
Sunkids came to us ahead of their Safety Campaign with a clear goal: show parents what child safety actually looks like inside their centres. That means the supervision, the safe spaces, and the small daily decisions their educators make that families rarely get to see. The film needed to reassure parents researching childcare and still hold up as a credible statement for a network of 17 centres. It also had to work across Meta ads, the Sunkids website and organic social.
Our Approach
We worked from Sunkids’ safety pillars and shaped them into a single story instead of a checklist. Educators and parents speak directly to camera, so the message comes from the people who live it every day, not from a voiceover.
On the day, we kept the crew small and shot freehand. That let us move through the centre without interrupting the children’s routine and capture natural, unposed moments between educators and kids. In the edit, we used a slower, considered pace, a warm grade and gentle sound design. The aim was for the film to feel like the centres themselves: calm, caring and safe.
